Michigan Welcome Event and BBQ

The GABC of Michigan is excited to share with you the newest event to our 2022 calendar. The GABC is hosting a Michigan Welcome Event with BBQ to welcome our newly arrived expatriates to Southeastern Michigan. This event is free for all, although we do welcome company sponsorships.

We have invited many local business and service providers who cater specifically to our German and European community.

We are excited to share that we will offer an immersion to American Culture workshop presented by our own Arnd Herwig. This casual workshop will start at 6pm with tips and cues for living and working in the US and highlights some of the cultural nuances between Germany and the United States.

Traditional BBQ dishes as well as drinks will be provided. Kids are welcome to play at the onsite playground and fields. This event is outside and will take place in a covered pavilion (rain or shine). The GABC follows all recommendations of the CDC.

The GABC is pleased to offer our members and community an expanded roster of events for the 2022 year. As always, as a member run organization, we look forward to your participation and continued support.
